Regional Security

Doha is one of the safest cities and attacks on tourists are extremely rare. The crime rate in Doha is very low, although it has increased somewhat as the population grows. Nonetheless, it is always important to remain vigilant and be aware of the local situation.

TEDxSummit Security

We maintain tight security and require a photo ID (passport or driver's license) when registering on-site. You must wear your TEDxSummit name badge for access to all events, including parties.

Particular security instructions may be given during the event due to the presence of certain speakers; please follow the instructions of TED staff.
