Security

We maintain tight security and require a photo ID (passport or driver's license) when registering on-site. You must wear your badge for access to all events

Particular security instructions may be given during the event due to the presence of certain speakers; please follow the instructions of TED staff.

Membership Policies related to TEDGlobal

To attend a TED Conference, you must submit an application to be invited.

TEDGlobal is considered a separate conference registration, and is open to TED Conference attendees and non-attendees alike. A fee is charged for TEDGlobal attendance and for some of the satellite events. TED reserves the right to reject applications to attend TEDGlobal. Once attendance has been agreed and payment processed, the registration terms for TEDGlobal apply (see the section labeled "Policies related to TEDGlobal").

We reserve the right to terminate a TEDGlobal registration at any stage without explanation by notifying the individual concerned by email and refunding 100% of the fee paid.

For corporations and other organizations, there is a limit of four tickets per corporation, except in the case of major corporate partners and sponsors.

Transfer policies for Reduced Price Memberships

No refunds, carryovers or transfers are allowed.
