Hi everyone! I’m Roshi Givechi from IDEO, a global design consultancy, creating impact through design. I’m delighted to lead the HP project on COLOR here at TEDActive, specifically to facilitate a discussion around how we can use color as an effective tool. Our question about color as a tool is intentionally broad to allow us to explore the meaning, intention, application and potential of what color can do through a variety of lenses…meaning yours!
It’s been fascinating to see the conversation emerge in the TEDActive Color Project group on Facebook. So far, topics on color range from cultural assumptions, upcoming trends in fashion, communication from the personal level to the scientific, and so on. And, we’re just getting started! If you’d like to participate in this conversation in Palm Springs, join the TEDActive Color Project group, keep an eye out for our blog, or look for us through the TEDActive TEDConnect APP so we can convene and give the topic more depth. In addition to hearing from you, we’re looking forward to building more meaningful ways color can work as an effecting tool by drawing connections from the upcoming TED talks as well.
Our core TEDActive color team – Jack Burgess, Jerri Chou, and Roshi – can’t wait to meet you and help nudge things along…
