Eco-art for the City 2.0

TEDxKampala's Ruganzu Bruno makes his pitch for a part of this year's TED Prize, The City 2.0. Bruno's pitch was the winning one, and he will receive a $10,000 prize to help realize his idea: an eco-art amusement park built from recycled materials, for the children of the City 2.0.

A session under the stars

Local Qataris join TEDxSummit attendees in this outdoor session at the majestic Katara Amphitheatre. TED veterans like Hans Rosling and Raghava KK take the stage alongside newcomers like Will Noel, Fahad Bin Mohammed Al-Attiya and Yahay Alabdeli, marking the first TED event held in the Middle East.

Ideas to Action

Throughout the week, 6 Action groups will meet, brainstorm and launch community projects: Curating Best of TEDx Talks, Regional Lens, Tech Tools & API Hackathon, Mentoring & Knowledge Sharing, How-to TEDx Videos and Turning Ideas into Action. Each Action will present their outcome at the closing TED Session on Thursday evening.
